flow-captor Overview
flow-captor

Flow Sensor based on the Calorimetric Principle for liquid and pasty media.
Compact, precise, rugged and very reliable

flow-captors are compact, self-contained flow sensors that work according to a calorimetric principle. The principle allows for the creation of compact, reliable flow sensors with a price/ performance ratio not possible with other flow-sensing technologies.

Especially at low flow rates, no other sensing principle can achieve the high accuracy of a flow-captor.
First engineered by weber Sensors more than 20 years ago, weber continues to pioneer sensors based on this principle.

flow-captors are available as insertion and in-line types. Both are also available with a binary output as switches and adjustable set-point and with an analog output as meters with an adjustable measuring range.
Also available with temperature measuring features.

Insertion flow switches Sensors to be connected to an existing pipe by means of a nipple or a welding fitting. They have switching outputs.
Insertion flow meters Sensors to be connected to an existing pipe by means of a nipple or a welding fitting. They feature analog outputs.
Inline flow switches Sensors especially suitable for monitoring low flow rates. The sensor element is integrated into the sensor tube, avoiding restrictions of flow and/or pressure drops. They have switching outputs.

Combined flow- and temperature meters

Programmable Sensors to measure flow and temperature.
They have analog outputs for flow rate and temperature.
